The main purpose of the international patient evaluation process is to assess the patient’s complaints, previous medical records, imaging studies and expectations in a safe, realistic and medically appropriate way.
Diagnosis and treatment planning are personalized according to the patient’s condition, general health status, previous treatments, imaging findings and face-to-face orthopedic evaluation.
How does the process work?
During the initial communication stage, international patients may be asked to share their current complaints, previous imaging studies and, if available, previous surgery reports. A final diagnosis and treatment decision can only be made after an in-person examination and any additional tests considered necessary.
