Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Öner is an orthopedic and trauma surgeon with a clinical focus on spine surgery, spinal deformities, hip and knee replacement, complex trauma and advanced orthopedic conditions.

Specialization and Approach
In advanced orthopedic conditions such as spine disorders, spinal deformities, hip and knee joint problems, the evaluation process considers the patient’s symptoms, physical examination findings, imaging results and daily life expectations together.

He graduated from Konya High School in 1997. In the same year, he was accepted to Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine with a full scholarship and completed his medical education in 2004.
Orthopedics and Traumatology Residency
Between 2005 and 2010, he completed his Orthopedics and Traumatology residency at Metin Sabancı Baltalimanı Bone Diseases Training and Research Hospital.
Compulsory Service and Clinical Duties
In 2010, he began his compulsory service at Muş State Hospital. In 2012, he worked at Erzincan Mengücek Gazi Training and Research Hospital.
Baltalimanı Period
In 2015, he returned to Metin Sabancı Baltalimanı Bone Diseases Training and Research Hospital, where he continued his clinical work on spine surgery and complex orthopedic cases.
Academic Title and Educational Duties
He received the title of Associate Professor in 2021. In 2022, he served as the responsible physician and educator of the 2nd Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic.
Current Practice
In 2024, he served as the administrative head of the Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic. He left his position at Baltalimanı in 2025 and, as of December 2025, began seeing patients at his own private practice in Nişantaşı, Istanbul.
